Take a New Zealand Walking Holiday

Few would dispute that New Zealand offers a unique and beautiful rural area with a fascinating history and culture. One of the best ways to see it after the holiday in New Zealand walk.

What is there to see?

New Zealand is often described in terms of two main islands. Many of the North Island have a strong feeling, “Pacific Island”, with beautiful beaches, delicious flora and volcanic nature of many aspects. It is home to most of the inhabitants of New Zealand is proud of its multi-cultural status, and has a strong Maori heritage and presence. Auckland and Wellington are the two cities, and worth exploring, as Napier. Rotorua is world famous for its geysers, steam vents and boiling mud pools bubble. Bay of Islands are great opportunities to examine the many islands and coves of sand. Do not miss also the Tongariro National Park, which contains beautiful scenery.

New Zealand With Natural Environment

Formed from mainland New Zealand from Gondwanaland about 80 million years ago. It is a unique country, a country where many species are developed in isolation from the world. Before humans arrived around 900-1000 years ago, this country is home to birds, insects, fish, bats and marine animals and landscapes and vegetation are adopted without grazing animals such as sheep, deer and cattle.

The early settlers mainly from the United Kingdom. Is of the Victorian era, they want their new house feel more like they are left behind and also believe that to New Zealand needed a sports game for the rich to give. Lack of understanding of the New Zealand environment and how introduced species will interact with ecological disaster has caused. With only a Harrier Hawk Falcon Australia and New Zealand naturally occurring predator species, introduced mammalian pests quickly. The use of predators such as weasels, ferrets, stoats and cats to find native species (especially birds) is easy to catch because they are not used for land-based predators, but predators can not control the larger species such as deer, pigs, tahr goats and mountain. Without the natural system in place for the balance of introduced species increased their numbers and begin to adverse effects on the smooth NZ environment.
