Phillip Island
The Penguin Parade at Phillip Island is an extraordinary natural spectacle, and one of the attractions the most popular attractions in eastern Victoria. Every evening at sunset, at any time of the coming year, hundreds of little penguins on the ground and waddle Summerland Beach on the sand from their burrows in the grass spinifex (spiny grass), have as their ancestors for generations.

At Seal Rocks, off the cliffs at the western end of the island is the largest colony of Australian fur seals. Around 7000 of these seals look to play in the waves or feed their young are on the rocks.
